The Japanese version is unplayable, the American version is simply an atrocity to game design, they both try to change how shooters and 3rd person action games are supposed to play after Halo and RE4 figured it out.
The music is great, it's by the FFXIII composer, the graphics and designs of the main characters are good, the enemy designs are lacking you'll be mostly shooting at guys that look like the ninjas from The Bouncer. The CG is fantastic done in the same style as Advent Children. If you love Vincent, you'll like it, if you're expecting a decent shooter you'll hate it.

I really like the concept but I see some issues

1. The background of some characters would be too hard to adapt, too many orphans and the ones that are not would be a pain, like do these people have friends or relative outside work?
2. Current lifestyle, Light has it easy since she is a cop but too many of these characters are murder hobbos, Zidane could be an actor but Cloud and Squall lmao are textbook homeless, and you kinda need to give canon occupations to other which could upset some fans.
3. Why are these people meeting and how, then you gotta write why is a cop such as light letting people like Terra who is a student fight monsters, or why is Light not letting the authorities know.
