How can anyone like this crap
The combat system is incredibly bland. All you do is memorize attack patterns and press the invincibility roll button at the correct time. There's also often 0 variety in the player's options. I don't care for 200 weapons that all do the same thing

I'm kind of tired of "soulslikes." It was alright when it was a couple of games that had fun exploration and hard enemies and traps and shit, but they just all feel the same at some point. I tried Wuchang which everyone was raving had the best soulslike level design since the first Dark Souls and still just dropped it after like three areas.

Souls games single handedly solved action RPG and GURPS inspired RPG game mechanics in a format that actually fits videogames and where you can't savescum for rerolls
If a game like Neverwinter Nights had the actual mechanics of a Souls game it would be the best D&D RPG ever made
