switching to linux also means abandoning your windows only programs dude
imagine switching from a gameboy to a playstation then complaining that your cartridges don't work

because as long as your life doesn't depend on microsoft word or fortnite, it can be a much more enjoyable experience
if this is not the case, feel free to stay on windows

I pirated River City Girls 2 on Linux Mint recently, it was pretty easy. I downloaded the Fitgirl repack, Wine ran the exe and installed the files, then I opened Steam, added the game's exe file as a nonSteam game, and finally I just ran the game with Proton. I probably didn't have to add the game to Steam, but it just makes things easier to use Proton.
If I could run Clip Studio Paint without any problems I would switch to Linux. I've been waiting six years for a solution to this. They're so focused on running crappy games that nobody cares that they forgot everything else.

The "solution" is Krita. FOSSfags won't bother with trying to make proprietary software run if there's a libre alternative, even if it's not as useful.
Just run CSP on a VM or something.

Years ago I learned that everyone in a tech field or IT is always using the most up to date OS at work and home. They even use edge for personal use. I updated to 11 the day it come out. I'll do it again with 12.

Got humbled really fast when I mentioned vim to my first boss and he didn't know wtf I was talking about. It really felt like the joke was (me) and not him.
