No, I get that. I was just confused because "pendejo" sounds less vulgar in Argentina than it is in Mexico. You wouldn't be able to say it on TV or the radio in Mexico. But then again, depending on the context, you can't use the word "madre" on TV or the radio in Mexico.

They are absolutely using Mexican accents. Not distinct regional ones, but that's like saying American TV shows don't use American accents.

I'll give you a little credit, some simpson chapters here in latin america started after some season (probably 9 and above) to use a kind of distinct mexican leaning accent and terms.
But in general, their dubs are neutral, those cases are rare exceptions.
Maybe you are american and can't notice it, but mexican spanish and their dub-neutral one are VERY different.
