It’s atrocious in terms of performance. I could forgive it a bit if it actually had mindblowing visuals, but it just looks like a more open version of 3 with less screenrape visuals.
It ticks all the boxes for shit performance:
>dithering issues
>settings that barely change visuals and performance: low looks and runs almost the same as high
>forced lumen
>large open world means a ton of shit needs to be loaded in and processing at all times
>Frequent random crashes
>Unreliable online cloud sync meaning you can permanently lose loot/character progression with an unlucky desync while you level/something drops
>RT(lumen) lighting, shadows, and reflections sizzling or delayed
>you need mods to actually tweak the performance, but you’re still not going to get more than 10 fps increase
>shitty greasy vaseline smear visuals on 1080p, dithering on 1440p, dogshit performance at 2160p
>it’s a fast paced shooter game, which makes all these issues feel even worse since shooters like this rely heavily on snappy high fps responsiveness
They clearly weren’t thinking much when they made this, just going through the motions of making a bog standard ue5 movie game instead of cutting the unnecessary bullshit out and relying on artstyle to carry it. They could’ve stuck with the visuals of 2 just with sharper textures and cleaner meshes and it’d be perfect.
