It's a modified HK416. It's in the LMG section because once upon a time in real life it was an infantry support weapon, therefore according to Dice logic it's an LMG because muh signature weapon.

I've been trying to learn aircraft starting with this game and I always get fucking owned in jet dogfights. I can't even tell if jets influence the match that much because I swear I've never been killed by one on the ground, it's just this constant 1v1 battle that's completely divorced from the real fight. I just broke 5 KD today, and not a single bot was used to pad it. Lowering the TTK while still keeping movement slow has turned this into the most me-pandering game ever, because I'm too slow to do COD-style slide-cancel duels and too bad a shot to keep my aim on-target for an entire mag like in Halo. it is. I think assault is kinda redundant in this game. Sure people complain with open weapons you can get a sniper and a m4 with the assault ladder and camp, but you get halfed ammo with the sniper and no means to re supply.

It should be like bf1, where assault is the agressive combat class. Doesn't make sense for your hardcharger aggressive soilders to be utterly useless against armor or jets.

Bc2 is my favorite one, I know I'm a normie, but while the classes didn't make complete sense they were fun.

The Medic shouldn't have LMGS. The guy running out to save dudes shouldn't be lugging around a big gun down range along with his med kit. Someone else should be putting bullets down range while the medic revives.

I actually like this - adds more chaos on large scale battle modes. I always hated waiting like 5-10 minutes looking for an enemy to kill in other battlefields only to get sniped. Battlefield 1 somehow made them good though and I don't know how.

Only problem I have is the grind. Its ridiculous what you have to do in order to unlock shit; they set it as if playing the game is your full time job. I also do not get the autistic obsession of waiting until level 23 before you can do certain challenges.

Communication and info is also shit. For example, unlocking attachments for the M60 but they are locked. Bug? No - It took me 5 minutes of googling to find out you can not unlock the attachments until you unlock the factory M60 at level 20. This shouldn't be needed.

Overall, they really need to dampen the grind and make shit more clear - especially if they want to attract adhd cod zoomies.

I use WASD for pitch and roll, space bar for accelerate, c for brake and shift for afterburner, then I have a duplicate bind for pitch on the mouse but inverted and also yaw.

I maneuver with WASD and do precision aim with the mouse like I was just playing a normal FPS

I played for a few hours and mostly just felt bored. I knew I'd have to extensively change the graphics settings because I could barely see anything. When I realized I'd have to go through another 50 hours to make the purchase feel worth it, I just decided to get a refund instead. As much as I love playing medic, paddles need to be nerfed. Give them a 3-5 second cool down before revive or require them the be charged up. That way one medic can't revive 5 people in 2 seconds instantly defeating any push or surprise flank. It would also make the passive where the slow revive is faster more meaningful.

Breakthrough is really the best mode right now. Conquest is filled with to much vehicle nigger bs that completely kills the flow of the game. Some of the conquest maps are good but unironically Firestorm is so bad it kills any desire to even play the game. I leave every Firestorm match if I am playing by myself.

I'm having a decent time playing but these maps are complete dogshit. Spawns in general are awful and everything feels designed for extremely busy, close quarters fighting even on the "larger" maps. It's passing the time until arc raiders but I'm not expecting much from this game in the future

Mostly I just pick up and put down my motion sensor religiously, but yes once I unlocked the drone I use it all the time. Claymores are hard to put away because my experience is that the nature of BF games is that you are going to get killed from every direction except where you're looking about 75% of the time and most objectives have a dozen points of entry, so planting one or two helps a lot.
Plus it's fucking funny to put one in a dumb spot and get a message several minutes later that it killed some poor fool.
