Simple mon-hun clones with more active battle system. Play them if you like that sort of mindless battling avoid the red zone gameplay.

I liked them. If you like the idea of budget MH, then give them a try. They're probably easy enough to pirate if you're unsure.

They are okay. Customizing bullets is neat. Just don't expect a high quality game. The maps look terrible and aren't fun to navigate.

I got God Eater 3 on the switch.
What's the /v/erdict on this entry?
It has an anime opening and I'm a sucker for games that do that, like Scarlet Nexus or Reverse Collapse Codename Bakery

Only the first one since it had a pretty deep bullet customization. The later games scaled that feature back

Before the thread dies, can someone explain why Code Vein being revealed to take place in the God Eater universe was such a bad thing?

From an in-game perspective? God Eater's world is ultra fucked, much worse than the world of Code Vein.
From an IRL perspective, I don't remember seeing anybody complaining about it. It didn't mean much anyways besides some GE enemies making cameos as DLC bosses. CV2 supposedly abandons this plot line completely and retcons it away.
