I'm playing New Game+ and so far the cutscenes seem like a game of spot the difference, I think the only change I picked up on was the doll was somewhere it wasn't originally.
I appreciate the "skip new cutscenes" button but when so many new cutscenes are indistinguishable it's a little pointless

I was more confronted by how much new information you get from old cutscenes, there's a lot that is said plainly that you don't understand until you reach NG+

I really liked the first playthrough, and the new cutscenes like the other guy mentioned are for sure radically the same but different with context

I'm confused at how many runs you need to do
From my understanding to get the big three alternate endings you need to do the following, in addition to not taking the you-know-whats
>Beat the game with the sword purified
>Beat the game without the sword purified
>Do those but offer the broach
So I'm almost finished with my second playthrough where I'm purifying the sword. Once I get the sword, can I just make another save, use that save to get the ending where I didn't purify it, then go back to the original save, purify it, and continue that file until I get the final ending?

You need at least 2 NG+ to get all of the endings but there is nothing stopping you from beating the game twice and then using your second NG+ to get the remaining 3 endings.
