So playing the game docked on a Switch 2 is the only somewhat sane way to experience it? And yet a ton of retards would sit in bed and play it at 1080p, but hey, at least they're getting 60FPS! Not that they would care or notice the difference. A lot of Nintendo fans seem to enjoy games at 30 FPS or just have gotten used to it, so I guess playing it 720p 30FPS is fine. The game even runs on a Nintendo Switch 1, so all the people who couldn't afford a Switch 2, or didn't upgrade can still play it, despite it running at fucking 720p 30FPS and looking worse. I don't even think it's about visuals for them. They just want to "EXPERIENCE LE NEW POKEMON GAME OMG!" They don't recognize it's a shit experience. They just like the fact that they can play it on a Switch 1. If you docked on a 4K TV on a Switch 2, it'd probably make their heads explode seeing the difference in FPS and resolution. And we're not even talking drastically, but it'd be clear and not blurry, and you'd see everything moving faster/smoother. Playing it on a Switch 1 just means the entire game will be a blurry/smeary/oily mess at 30FPS. That's the entire experience, and most people don't give a shit. It's insanity to me. At least on a Switch 2 you can somewhat get a decent experience, especially if you play it in docked mode. The visuals themselves are shit, so even upscaled to 4K it probably won't make the game look super good, but it's better than playing it blurred, and at least you'll get 60 FPS. Legends of Arceus looked like shit and everyone ate it up regardless, and we're talking a Switch 1 game that was just 720p 30FPS I'm assuming.
