That's not even the correct knot. The Hangman's Knot is a single-bound self-tightening slipknot. What you have are two individual slip knots that don't increase the friction of each other's knots in any way. The Hangman's Knot is much like single pole lashing, if you now how to tie that.

I used to try that but honestly You wont see much. Most people have curtains and venetian blinds which prevents You from seeing anything worthwhile. At best You'll be able to see what kind of flowers they do have in the windows and what kind of clothing are they drying on the balcony. Most success I've had with this was back when I was a kind and went to Bulgaria for holidays. We were in some hotel complex and with binoculars You could see people in the hotel in front of Yours.

Thank god I quit league 3 years ago.

Unfortunate. Living in Vancouver, there are dozens upon dozens of highrises near each other, and if you were to take the time to scope around at night, you'd see the chinese escorts keep their curtains wide open while they're getting railed. They put on quite a show, it draws in money. ;)
