Power armor: you wear it, your limbs go inside the metal limbs (not necessarily all the way). To move an arm, you simply move an arm. Mecha: you pilot it like a vehicle (sometimes through a neurointerface). At least I think that's how it works.

I mean, there are obviously examples of mecha which are also controlled by limb movement, but often it's still obvious. Like, in Pacific Rim they actually move their limbs to control the huge robots, but no one will confuse those robots for power armors.

Mechas arent an option if video games are your main hobby. Unless youre ok with getting one new game every 10 years or so. And it probably wont even be good because 90% of the are made by low budget indie devs
