I mean fuck it, there's no crossplay, multiplayer games and especially coop ones tend to rely on their shitty gog network service, there's little to no lan support, not even a dedicated emulation environment like proton. You don't have much cloud storage (I remember having to keep just one save in vanilla underrail), their forums suck ass and do most retarded things like mixing games like normal and bethesda's fallouts.
Linux support is not always stellar as well. I played Linux native version of planescape two years ago. For some reason a standalone offline installer required libssl of some obscure version. Why.jpg

Im not saying it needs to be steam 2.0, im saying all good had to do is to deliver me cheap old and not so old games that I could play alone and with my friends and it should be much easier than pirating. It was at first, back to torrents now.
