its no meme, I really like it. very well made but the only issue is the detachable cable. I play permanently wired so it comes out too easily

Saaarrr. No they are shitty. Extremely low QC and garbage Dpads. If you want chunky 3rd party overall get a 8shitdo and if you want a good dpad and play fighters at a high technical level with movement and advanced combos get ES Pro or Hori Commander 3/DS4.
Bought the G7HE a year ago and have used it pretty frequently since. It's pretty well put together for a 3rd party controller and the microswitch face buttons are nice. Recently just bought the G7 Pro and while the TMR sticks are very nice for shooters, they completely fucked up the dpad. Feels very mushy and cheap, with lots of diagonal misclicks. I'm also not currently sold on the extra shoulder buttons yet, though that may just be me not being used to having them there

hello saars
I use one for a year now, one with the mechanical buttons
its good, I like it
back buttons are a must for some games, and it was cheap
its wired only tho, and I had an issue with the white front cover, where the right joystick couldnt reach 100% with it
8bitdo's Rare 40th Anniversary controller or the GameSir G7 Pro? I'm looking to grab something that works wirelessly on my SeX because I'm not a fan of the Xbone and Series controllers so those are my only options and I'm not paying $200 for a SCUF or Razer I think it was.
I've watched tons of reviews of the G7 Pro and everyone said it was basically their favorite controller outside of the d-pad which you either love or vehemently despise with no in-between. I only saw one guy who compared the Rare controller to the G7 Pro and he said he'd instantly pick the G7 over the Rare one. I've handled something like the Rare controller because the Nova Lite looks very similar to it in terms of buttons and ergonomics and I liked it, but I'd like to hear opinions if possible. My only dislike of the G7 Pro is the Wuchang version is fairly ugly and the blue means none of the faceplate replcements look good on it while the ZZZ version is $30 more for no reason.

Less than 25% of championship finals have been won with a controller, nobody uses dpads for fighting games, at least nobody that's actually good

I have the Xbox one, not the Rare variant, but I'm fairly certain they're the exact same controller. I definitely prefer GameSaar over it. I have their wired White version, and nearly everything about it is better than the 8bitdo one, except for the shitty dpad. Was going to get the Wuchang version, but also thought it looked like shit so I settled for wired (though apparently some have said the dpad on the Wuchang is improved now)
