Microsoft owns IGN.

I genuinely don't understand xbox anymore. So is this a successor to the latest generation of xbox? Does it compliment it? The naming scheme with xboxes is so confusing. I know there is a rog ally x that is just a portable gaming pc, is this like an xbox and a portable gaming pc in one?

That's nice. I prefer to play PC games on a nice, big monitor with a mouse and keyboard or normal-sized gamepad.

Ok I understand. It's a steam deck competitor but it ties into the xbox ecosystem, so if you own a game on xbox then it will let you play the equivalent pc version. But if that's the case does it mean that the steam deck can play "xbox games" aka windows games but Microsoft intentionally disables support for it on that device?

If someone who knows how computers / gaming works has to ask all these questions then Microsoft has failed at marketing.
