She has no built in groundwork help which isn't a dealbreaker in itself, but if you're limited to 3 daily Seiun borrows and need to hit all hints/sparks for groundwork setup (and distance S)
I have no Seiun but spent 2 weeks before the banner building parents or her. I have double circle affinity with 2x Seiun grandparents so I can still do cope attempts after borrows are up
If you have no Seiun and/or do want to risk having to do excessive grind, you won't regret missing

That being said I am building Smaru and you need a good deck for it, finding greens for groundwork is tough as she has zero innates and no focus either. Only do it if you are dedicated and you like groundwork autism. Otherwise she will get outclassed in a few months by Bourbon. Rolling her to chase the meta is not the most efficient option for f2p. Just save for Bourbon or Christmas Oguri

Im able to find them myself but is inherently tougher than the other fronts to find greens is all. It should also be noted that Maru’s unique only goes off if you have healed first, so keep that in mind to those building her. Need strong cards with reliable greens + enough SP to buy heals. Building her for medium seems way harder than building a front for Mile, but Im up to the challenge. I got a sub-par one ready if you guys wanna test. But I need to build up my Summer Chud too
