I haven't tested it myself but the way I would assume it would work is that if you used ghost ogre on the effect while it's in the ST zone to summon itself it should negate, but if you use the effect while it's in the monster zone it will NOT negate because it's the effect of a monster on the field.

I think the point of confusion here is the exact wording of "why" continuous spells and traps need to be on the field in order to resolve. Like, is the "this card must be on the field in order to resolve" a restriction added onto spells, or is NOT needing to be on the field a special benefit granted to monsters? Or is it just because when she's summoned she's still a trap, but only considered a normal trap and not a continuous trap?

Start playing going second decks like gem knight otk. People will usually stick around if they've already invested their time with their turn 1 and you usually can break anything if you're dedicating your deck to going second.
Going second (real going second, not gay "i become immune to everything" going second like tenpai) is also peak ygo. Actually requires intelligent play and is literally nothing but constantly trading interactions with your opponent.

Okay firstly don't ever call me a retard. I'm not being disrespectful towards you, extend the same courtesy. Secondly no, technically speaking droll would qualify as a quasi-response. As you literally cannot activate droll without first allowing your opponent to draw once off of fuwa your opponent's fuwa is always successful at its intended job. Now one could argue that in actuality the stated ability to draw is not fuwa's job, but rather fuwa is a "verhinderung" - that is to say the card's true purpose is to prevent the opponent from comboing further. In such a case, yes, you could say that droll acts properly as a response to fuwa. However it should be noted that droll is itself also a verhinderung. There is a question to be asked concerning how many draws you can allow before you are *ready* to play under droll yourself. If fuwa is to give its user say 3 draws then even if it has not caused the opponent's comboing to cease would it still not be greatly impactful? Though if you wish to lessen your turn's potential and activate droll early then could one not say fuwa has succeeded at its "true" job? Well there is no sense in sitting here and debating philosophy anyway; I only wished to say I believe most would agree droll is no called by.

Scareclawfag here, this is easily one of easiest events I've played, the powerlevels of other players decks are so low, most people dont know what to do without their meta decks, and I'm taking full advantage of it.

This my blind going second deck of choice, with 2 variations for whether or not the dice give me a monster on field when I start. The goal is to interrupt/board break my opponent then go for Turn 2 OtK, using any of the main deck Scareclaw names to 1 card combo into Tri-heart and using extra mats to make link-climb into the Codebreaker line co-linked to Tri-heart, to grant a Link 3 + Link 2 + 1 garnet; Berserker pops 3 backrow, then Knightmare Unicorn co-linked bounces 1, draws 1, makes Accesscode for 5300 + another pop and Scareclaw Kashtira to negate during battle phase.

The deck comes pre-loaded with in archetype Piercing, attack more than once effect, and Atk gain and fits a double co-linkable Firewall Dragon. I have been absolutely stomping the dice rally. It helps that the decks available aren't exactly able to play through multiple hand traps.

I run Bystial Spright and, while Mitsurugi raises the deck ceiling, I am legit questioning running it because of how long the combo gos.
