Do people hate 3 (anime, not v3)? Saw some posts saying Chiaki is flanderdized but not really anything else of substance. I thought 3 had a lot of really REALLY stupid moments but mostly in the future arc. Past arc was pretty inoffensive apart from not really having a compelling reason why the 2 cast went to shit. Like it's been a hot minute but from playing 2 I had thought Junko emotionally manipulated everyone into becoming the worst versions of themselves, while 3 retcons it into just bRaInWaSh.

You can always come up with some plausible motive. The real dividing line is whether any given character would kill for selfish reasons or for altruistic reasons. Yeah, I don't think Sakura would murder a classmate and try to frame someone else to satisfy any selfish desires, but she might do it if she was convinced somehow that it needs to be done to achieve some greater good. I can see her sacrifice even her honor out of a sense of duty. Likewise for Ishimaru and other noble characters.

It's funny that 2-3 is so committed to being terrible that it also ends in the unanimous worst execution in the series.

In my opinion, a better execution for him would have been to chain him up to two bikes and have him get dragged accross a highway. Then to end it you could make the road split into 2 paths, with each bike choosing a route and Mondo ending up in the middle, slamming into a tree
