None. The problem with the Switch 2 is the poor value of the service it provides. The games are fine, but they're too expensive. Same goes for the hardware. And NSO is a manipulative, corporate scam.

>inb4 get it on PC
I don't have a gaming PC (or PC at all, just a very old laptop used only for working) and getting one is more expensive than just getting a switch 2.

nothing at their current price points and production budgets. if they produced a Pokémon or Zelda or Smash Bros with like 5-10x the budget of what they've been doing, and reduced the price of the console so it's as affordable in the rest of the world as it is in Japan, i might care. as it is though i'd rather just play Digimon and Elden Ring on my computer. the newest leaks that revealed they're developing Pokémon games on the cheapest and most anemic budget imagineable was sickening.

If they hadn't made every single Mario Sports game on the Switch fucking dogshit wastes of $60 I would probably want sequels of those but I have 0 faith in Camelot or Next Level Games now

The problem with Switch 2 is that most third party games are on key cards. And that you need a microSD express card to expand the meager 256 gigabyte storage. Sure Switch 2 might have first party games. However third party games run better on other devices historically.

I'd probably get one just to play some of the Switch 1 games with better framerate. But the price hike is just too much. Especially for just a hardware improvement for Switch 1 games.

I'll probably wait for a new Kirby or (not Prime) Metroid game. Or if Vanillaware puts their games on Switch 2.

Personally it wouldn't matter. I never asked for a Switch again, but a little stronger and a little bigger (Switch Pro), I wanted something interesting. I'll be in my 40s when they try again and I know the kids don't care enough about this stuff, so I'm basically done at this point save for retro, emulation and the occasional (maybe one or two games every 2 years) game on PC.

I don't even think you can do this unless they made a "Switch 2 Edition" version that you have to buy seperately, like they did for Zelda.

The switch 2 toss it's full power at any switch 1 game you run on it.
There's no resolution or max frame rate upgrade (these are paid), but if the game was failing to reach the full frame rate, it does on the switch 2, except for dragon quest builders 2 that massively improves but it's still too heavy even for the switch 2.

Also deadly premonition gets basically unplayable due having the gameplay tied to the frame rate.

Some games run better natively. Others got patches to improve their performance, like the DQ games and Unicorn Overlord. Probably others. Those are just the ones I heard of.

I want DK and Metroid so 3 more games would do it. Zelda and 3D Mario are a given so one more should do it. Maybe Monolithsoft's new project.

All zelda games benefit from it, as they all have CPU bottlenecks from hell.
botw and totk have specific paid patches, but the LTTP ones and that musou also improve for free.

some good exclusives. not donkey kong, not mario, not zelda musou, some real original games that nintendo put some soul into.

I hope if any company continues to remain physical, it's them. I'm definitely not buying any new digital games. Especially not on a Nintendo system with their terrible online record.
