Probably Bananza, some of the levels felt genuinely inspired and the game didnt lean too heavily on nostalgia either. I wish more of the game had the post finale difficulty but that's par for the course with Nintendo.

I'm not the biggest fan of the original but Kirby Airriders might be the next soulful game from them... if not, my money is on Rhythym Heaven Groove or whatever the subtitle is.
