Honestly, not as powerful as I thought it would be. I should've just saved a bit longer for a 5090.

based 5900x chad, those things are incredible that they are still holding strong. I want to upgrade from mine to a 9900X3D soon though. Shame we have to get a new board and ram too though.

Got this 1080 ti a few years ago secondhand, and it's still going strong. It even runs most newer games smoothly at 1080p or 1440p, and a lot of slightly older games at 4k with max settings. Not gonna upgrade until it shits the bed because I'm a cheapfag who refuses to shell out $1000-$3000+ for something better.

I gave in and upgraded mine this year to a 4080 super after mh wilds ran like shit, I know the game is hot garbage when it comes to optimization but I really wanted to game with the boys. Got it at release so it lasted me good 8 years

I'm thinking about buying a used graphics card now, and 1080 Ti is the highest end option for me, but still think $150 is too much for it. Thinking about 1660 S for $75, or 1070 for $75. Or an AMD RX480 for $50. Or something similar. What are the chances of an used card dying on me soon though? I don't want to just throw money away on a gamble. Also what can these cards and a 4 core i5 could even play, that are worth playing? Already finished GTA V, both on PS3, and on 1080p medium pc settings, so aside of that. Would buy a 1080 Ti, in good condition for $75 without much hesitation though.

I have a 1660 Ti but finally upgrading to a 5060 next month. Been going strong since 2019 but it's time to upgrade.

Though I really only play Genshin

if $100 is too much for you to throw away, you have much bigger problems in your life to think about other than video games.

3080 10GB VRAM

When I bought it i wasn't thinking about it, but holy shit 10GB VRAM is too little (especially for 4k gaming)

I do, but I'm also just frugal, and don't like to waste resources, while my current card still works well, and there are plenty of older titles that I have no played yet. But I'm trying to find something really good to play, because I have played the older titles that most interested me.
