The real reason is that because anti-racists don't think about race, they are basically running on autopilot. And our brains are naturally weighted towards Homophily, so they naturally end up with friends and spouses that are genetically very close to themselves.

Now, racists are actually thinking about race, they are not running on autopilot, so they might find friends and spouses in other races, because they will end up weighing other people through their personalities and characters much more thoroughly. They are, in a way, ironically, beating their "natural instincts" of just finding people with similar genetics and not thinking about it any more deeply.

Anti-racists don't live around THE OTHER so they can maintain some sort of feelgood fantasy about them and villainize racists of their own race who actually have to deal with that shit. The few specimens of THE OTHER they do meet are properly vetted by their largely homogenous society and only allowed in small numbers usually due to economic factors.

Racism encapsulates a whole range of behaviors from simply being rude to committing genocide, most racists are merely rude and not seriously committed neo nazis or something.

Because racism is just basic pattern recognition being applied to outgroups and unknowns, not your friend group. Sure sometimes you make erroneous assumptions and apply it to everyone you assume fits a category, but your friend is your friend and you can apply things you know about your friend against the things you assume about the group he belongs to.
Anti-racists logically extend racism towards knowns and the ingroup because they are jumping through some mental gymnastics about what they think racism is, which ironically makes them very anxious, insecure and racist around even around people whom they know.

Elves are often viewed as boring, so despite being more "Good" leaning they're typically only utilized as a companion in order to support the (often Human) Protag.
As the Human is the Protag, they're the one who tends to be actually interacting with the other races, while the "Elf" of the party is relegated to primarily dealing with the protag outside of token banter diologue and a few minor interactions with other characters.
Because of this, a fairly false concept of Elves has cropped up due to there being virtually no real Elf protags, while every RPG under the sun will go for Human protags, especially since Humans fit in other genres where Elves don't exist.
Elves have essentially been flanderized.
