Which particular autist do you refer to? What ticks one, would irritate another.
In general refer to early japanese NES games.
I myself enjoy various things for various reasons. I enjoy Planescape and Morrowind for the world, characters/events/systems connections, for designs, for music, for atmosphere. I enjoy early Minecraft for all if the above and i also enjoy meditatively dig square rooms block after block, column after column. I enjoy meleeing and some guns visual-audio-transforming-to-physical-in-my-mind feedback. I enjoy aforementioned NES games for music, for intentions, for worlds. I enjoy anime for intensity, emotions and honesty. I enjoy HoMM visually and musically. I enjoy beat-em-ups. I enjoy actions. I enjoy the freedom in games. I enjoy beauty in games. I enjoy mysteries, i enjoy exploration. Look at SotN - despite being unpolished in the second part this game provides beauty for eyes and ears, provide unusual designs, provides the atmosphere of the mystery, provides exploration, provides freedom of choice of ways to play it both in combat and in ways you choose. Almost perfect game.
I also enjoy systems i can explore and classify into systems of my own.
I also enjoy Kyrandia.
But there are many autists, who would hate at least one of the thigs i like. Or not hate, but being unable to percept and experience.
