i remember playing MOH frontline at my cousin's house in like 2004 and having a blast, then playing it again when it was included with the 2010 MOH reboot - i remember getting picked up from school on the week that i was playing it and when i was in the car my cousin messaged me saying "wait until you get to the submarine mission", which was an awesome mission. that memory really stuck in my mind and felt like an amazing time in my life now that i look back in retrospect
that ~6 or so year time gap between playing it at my cousin's house and then at my house felt like a lifetime back then but looking back on it now, the last time i played it was in 2011, 14 years ago
my perspective of time is so fucked

The music makes those old MOH games almost unbearably nostalgic

even back then i would sometimes hover over the game on the menu on the PS3 version and just listen to the theme music that played for a moment before moving on
i keep thinking about a post which an anon made on here recently
he said something like: if i were new to gaming today, i wouldn't get invested into the hobby

I recently got Brothers in Arm on 360. Hells Highway is the exact same I think. Looking forward to it a lot. I recently beat Medal of Honor airborne which definitely shows its age (gunplay feels kinda shit but not unplayable).
The tactics mechanics of Brothers in Arms looks very interesting

I replayed the BIA trilogy last year and first two games were really fun. Third game is a lot easier in comparison (you can just sit in cover mode and snipe everything), and much worse, it was the time when games started interrupting you every half a minute with cutscenes and taking control away from you. I really hated that. Also tank missions sucked ass.
