A firefighting game would be sick. I actually just took basic firefighting for my MMC not too long ago. It was 91F outside when we did it, so those suits were unbearable. Getting kitted wasn't tough, but holy cow, actually being in the burn house witj a fire going was a terrifying insight. It was so dark all I could see was the glow of the flames beneath the smoke and my hand when it was about 6 inches in front of my face. It was over 300 degrees inside. The firefighters say that's on the low end.
As for a game, slow and methodical room clearing a la Ready or Not. Each mission would involve different buildings, access points, and randomized civilians to find and rescue. As the blaze goes on, you'd eventually have to crawl on your hands and knees, but you're always on an invisible randomized timer to simulate flash iver, ehich is when the smoke itself catches fire and explodes into a new inferno that kills fighters within 3 seconds.
That's real.
Maybe one group of players can fight the fire from outside and another can enter the building for rescue. You'd need to manage which windows/doors you open to prevent feeding the fire too much, use the truck hose to cool the walls of the building, fighters inside would need to use axes on locked doors, use the hose to clear paths, and communicate via proximity chat, all in the near pitch black vision of Hell that is a fire.
