What is this early 2000s weird/creepy style? Korn videos, Linkin Park, Tool, Salad fingers, ps2 advertisement, etc.

it's a style invented by american suburban kids from christian boomer families being bored out of their mind.
the prototype of zoomercore.

GTA: Rio de Janeiro. The PS2 bootleg had a lot of early 2000s bangers. I shouldn't have thrown my GTA: San Andreas bootleg collection away, those were pretty funny. Just looking at pic related back in the day made chuckle. I remember having a copy of "GTA: Scorpion" that it was just a model of Scorpion from MK and a cheat menu. I traded it for a 25 to life copy with my friend.

Just had a listen to the first few tracks off it. It's stupid, like Nicky Minaj stupid, but it's nowhere near as fucking terrible as pretentious avant-teen retards make it out to me. Some catchy hooks, good pacing and groovy riffs. It's perfectly serviceable McDonald's tier music.

It was just the style of the time, being deliberately crass and off-putting to show how much you didn't give a fuck

People didn't hate Limp Bizkit because the music was actually bad. They hated it because of Fred Durst's tacky personality and how their whole style was incredibly corny and low brow, and instead of fighting the accusations the band just leaned into it instead, which of course just made people even madder. They were essentially a shitpost band with some good riffs

you just had to be there, bros. I was a white, suburban 11 year old boy. My friends and I rocked that fucking album nonstop
I find it hilarious that people try to act like it was the worst thing in the world and then with a straight face tell you N Sync, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears are all "great fun retro music!"
no, it was shitty pop music and is in no way better than my shitty numetal that I loved

Anyway, to answer your question, Prince of Persia maybe? or one of the first Saints Rows?

>only examples of other music that came to his mind is american pop music
this is all the proof you need that all limp bizkit fans are low IQ children
