I beat SH1 yesterday. Great atmosphere and graphics for the ps1 era. But the game itself fucking sucks, RE1 is so much better its not even funny. At least RE is an actual game and not a walking sim with shitty combat, simple memorization puzzles, etc.

Also the story being "woo we are summoning Le Satan" really ruined the creepyness and mystery
