- the artist who did the cutscenes from the first game dipped so now all the art in this game looks terrible in comparison.
- you start out with only one weapon, which is initially pretty cool, until you realize that the weapons double as traversal equipment, so you're locked out of areas based on what you picked at the start.
- additional abilities are acquired in a very specific order and are pretty much contextual use, so that means you can't fuck around with trying to sequence break organically (i.e. you can glitch, but that's not playing the game naturally)
- the story is still this esoteric garbled nonsense that you have to put a lot of effort in to understand.
- the final boss is a bit underwhelming (but you get to fight the real final boss before him so it's ok)
- they charged you 10 dollars extra for the mea culpa sword, which should have just been in the game by default
- ultimately not as memorable as the first game, but still a solid 7/10
