It honestly lets you take corners faster along with every drift stage charging faster. You can simply whip yourself from the outside of turns to go completely inward and let go of the gas to remove most of the friction you have. Legit feels better than normal drifting.

You can take any turn you could normally with tech drift. Study your racing lines in time trial, use throttle control.

Tech Drift doesn't spin you out. It just makes your car look funny when you turn. You're not slipping anywhere. It is very predictable and never takes control away from you even if you slam the gas and the steering wheel all the way to the right for a long ass turn.

i'm starting to have more respect for the power stat. with how important are rings in a race, it feels nice to not be spewing them out constantly when on the pack. built-in bumper guard is also a good bonus

What are some good time trial tips? I've been trying to start off by S-ranking Water Palace on SSS, but I cannot for the life of me shave off the half-second I need.

I'm taking sharp turns, lvl 2 boosting as much as possible, even on boats, charging boost off ramps, trying to hold off the gas when drifting on the boat section to make as tight a turn as possible, it's just not enough.

I've tried a few different gadget builds, but I just find them slower than my personal best. Right now I'm just using Starting Boost Bounty, lvl 2 & 3 charge, Drift Charge Kit on Silver's car with Amy.
