I'm enjoying Ghost of Tsushima on PC. Playing with a Xbox controller as God intended. I hope they don't wait more than a year to port Yotei, that game deserves the superiority of the PC.

I liked it too, gameplay feels great and the story wasn't too bad either. Don't agree with everything they did but still thoroughly enjoyed my time in Ezo.

Its about as good as Tsushima. Better in some, worse in others because of expectations. Feels like this is a smaller jump in gameplay/world design than Ragnarok, FW and SM2 were over their predecessors. There is so few new activity types and the combat REALLY didn't change that much by adding new weapons.

Would be kinda dope if they put in that multiplayer raid mode thing that the first game had. The oni themed gear in that was sick and I'd like to see supernatural variations of all the cool looking gear in this game as well.

Eh, I disagree. The sheer aggression of enemies this time around paired with Atsu getting shitfaced in battle before throwing sake bottles is already a sizable jump in fun factor. First impressions weren't great but I'm at 11 hours right now and am enjoying it much more than Tsushima. However Tsushima was great too. I think this game has a lot of smaller changes that end up culminating in a much bigger way. The QoL improvements are top notch.

The game has a really nice tribute to Ghost of Tsushima in it. Honestly, I think it is a modest improvement over that game in a lot of ways, the combat is more fun and there's a bit more variety to it outside of just switching stances based on the weapon type of the enemy like in the original.
It's still a relatively simple game.

The game is actually super hard too, hard difficulty was actually too "hard" for me in the biggest challenge of the game, the Takezo fight on mount yotei.

I tried like 20 times and just couldn't do it so I turned it down to medium and was finally able to beat him. Can't even imagine how hard he would be on lethal difficulty, you take one hit and you're dead on that one.

I platted my lethal playthrough yesterday. Takezo did feel like a proper challenge since the Yotei 6 themselves went down pretty easy.

Does the game have anything as kino as the Kill Ending of the first game? Haven't really bothered keeping up with it since I don't have a PS5.

I just couldn't do it, I tried lethal at first but turned it down pretty fast after dying way too many times.

I did most of the game on hard outside of Takezo which I just gave up trying.

The only part of the game I really didn't like was the very basic fox puzzles in the northern area, they felt really simple and a waste of time for the most part, way too casual. I wish the game had some harder puzzles in it.

It really should have had some kind of split decision ending where it determined who comes back to aid you against Saito. Just a little branching narrative would have been nice and felt a little more fulfilling like the original game.

Gameplaywise I found it less pleasant than tsushima. DLC of tsushima already felt like too much of same and even with year(s) break, Yotei quickly fell into repeats in open world. It doesn't help that a lot things feels like they take too much time, especially when you still are forced to interrogate after fights.
Some event sequences were bizarre like light house.

Some of those interrogations were definitely jank as fuck. Like one time I played with Miike mode on, jumped down to slaughter a leader and cut his head off but it didn't actually fall off. He was just instantly completely covered in blood, basically solid red. Then after I kill his other mooks he stands up to fight again for some reason but one heavenly strike cuts his arm off and instantly face plants him on the ground. Then Atsu interrogates him while he is acting all cocky and snarky. Then he stands up afterward and I throw a spear through his chest while he runs off into the sunset. Like wtf was that shit?

The interrogations are a huge miss. Should have just had an optional button prompt for defeated enemies to interrogate/execute. There are so many other things to do besides the main quests that they could have left it alone until the player was ready and willing. The forced interrogations were frustrating. Especially because Atsu spared them all.
