I've been sustaining Class 6 and at least 1/3 of my team trials team is dogshit. But 1/3 is good enough to consistently win. If you optimize a bit you can definitely crank up the numbers, that's a great score.

Vodka and Grass are comparable, except Grass can get On Your Left and Furious Feat, but it's harder for Vodka to get On Your Left. I think the edge has always been with Grass, but I'm a bit biased.

When fronts die, and they often due, that makes room for lates to steal the win. When pumping iron goes off, they can pass even a Seiun/Falcon with angling activated and max speed.

Well, recoveries don't always go off, and it depends on what the other guys bring.

You can definitely fuck someone in a medium/long race with stamina debuffs even if they bring extra, but I think it's less about targeting whales and more about targeting people that skimped on stamina to invest more in speed/power, or maybe dont have enough recoveries. Remember a lot of people just aren't prepared like the minmaxers here. If the other guy brings a nature and other debuffers it's possible to whittle someone's health down by 100-200 stam, which can definitely kill people, especially if they get rushed and that sort of thing.

No, and even fronts are gonna have to skimp on wit if they want enough speed, stamina, and power to win. But if your other stats are maxed out sure! Fronts need the extra wit because they're more reliant on skill activation or they die. They also need wit to help win the "battle" for front which affects their acceleration when challenging other fronts to see who will lead the pack. I'm pretty sure Wit can also affect your navigation a little bit, so it's not the worst to have. Just don't go in as a total witlet

Triumphant Pulse requires you to be in the top 5, but not any higher than second place and activates in the final 200m. It wont activate if you're in first, so yeah it also seems kinda bad on fronts as it's unlikely they're going to overtake another front at the very end.

We haven't done enough practice matches to know, but in the one I ran she lost because she was the only front, got hit by two dominators, and Rudolf passed her in the last seconds. She's got pretty good speed (around 1300 or so) and more than enough stamina. Maybe homestretch haste would have bailed her out, Im not sure. But one front by themselves tend to suffer and are more likely to be passed. Bringing another front might not be a bad idea, because everyone is not guaranteed to bring one. Or just make sure your late/end/pace is really strong in case she doesn't make it.

I think dominator is best on a hybrid ace. Not a pure debuffer, but say you have a Grass Wonder/Rudolf that's trained to win and have enough stamina/speed + they got dominator. They will keep the pace and hit everyone. This Rudolf was like that. It had dominator AND it won. So if you're gonna make a dominator debuffer, make sure they can keep up with everyone else would be my suggestion. Making a debuffer that has shit stats and piddles out at the end might not be as good. But double dominator is consistently strong from what I've heard to the point where it was the meta in japan for a long time until they outright removed debuffs. It's considered a pretty strong strat

I wouldn't recommend Shooting or Triumphant pulse for a front. For pace/late/end sure. Late/ends want Pumping Iron more though.

I feel Seiun Sky's is the only unique you really need for a front in this race, but there might be something else you could put on them. Red Shift is the go to choice IF you're not using Summer Maru. Otherwise idk.

Investing in extra stamina/heals will help out in this race. Being a staminalet makes you far more volatile, especially if you're also a witlet or dont have many heals

Getting enough power for fronts while also having enough stamina and speed is tricky. Blockers might be effective here again even with Summer Maru in play since they can just power max. Most fronts wont be able to go too much higher than 800 power. I know S. Maru's ability lets her go to the front of the pack anyway, but IF she's a powerlet a blocker might prevent angling. Even with a strong front it's hard to sustain the lead with all these dominators going off and strong pace/lates/ends.

This is why the Nice Nature wit SSR will be pretty useful as it gives on your left. That banner is at the end of October, so something to keep in mind if you like building lates.

Still, having that extra speed at the end from Rudolf's unique will help you pass a lot of stuff. Yeah acceleration is important, but speed is too. Rudolf seems like a stronger pick than Grass in your case. Both are pretty similar, it's a Vodka vs Grass type situation. If you build them up right, they should be pretty comparable. But I think Rudolf might actually have the edge. Her unique WILL be strong here.

Pumping Iron was what made or breaked my Late aces in Cancer. It was less likely to proc then, it should be more likely to proc in Leo and is recommended over Red Shift/Shooting, but if you can you should grab all three. When it goes off, it will give you a HUGE advantage. It is the strongest ability for lates/ends in this race by a long shot. The other two are more consistent, especially red shift, but don't sleep on Iron. There were people saying "it wasnt worth running" in cancer and that was straight bullshit. I saw first hand how effective it was and it's gonna be even stronger here. Remember, lates are gambling, you want to put that on if you can. When you hit the rolll, it's gonna send her surging forward like a bullet

Lates are not consistent. They are volatile by nature. They are very likely to get blocked, and their success rate depends on if their acceleration abilities go off. Iron is the strongest acceleration ability for a late. You'd be stupid not to run it, that's all I'm saying. Red shift is a guaranteed proc, so grab that, but when Iron goes off you're going to be glad you grabbed it. I'm not kidding that it got my Grass to win many races in these rooms and in the CM, she got plat for me. It's going to be even stronger in Leo. If you want consistency, don't run a late. They are the gambling class, they get blocked a LOT. So you probably want nimble navigator too.

From the career runs ive run i find it likely that a highroll creek is actually a bit better than a highroll tachyon, growth in wit and stamina is better than growth in speed (since you're gonna cap speed with both anyway) and guts, and you can get both medium skills with inspiration or hints, not to mention creeks secret events give a lot of skill points, mood and the free practice perfect is awesome

It should proc even more here on Leo, good on you for fact checking that, so don't pass it up. Ryan is the best parent you can have for a late/end this race. Then put Maru as a second parent, or Taiki, Oguri last because triumphant pulse isnt amazing when inherited but still pretty good. Iron is the best, red shift 2nd best, shooting third, triumphant last in order of priority for uniques (in my humble opinion)

Iron was only "half" recommended for cancer because it was extremely unreliable to proc, but when it DID proc it was very fast.

With Leo, due to how the track is designed, there is more of an activation window meaning it will be much stronger here because it will activate more consistently.

I'm just saying though in my cancer races, I put Iron on and when it went off it fuckign went off. Yeah 1 and 5 sounds about right, but for this race I think it's gonna be much more likely. It's not a gaslight, but for cancer it was just a gamble. It's by no means a gaslight. If anything the gaslight was telling people it's not worth it to run it, because it was definitely wroth grabbing for cancer even WITH the low activation rate (in my opinion, as my late benefitted from it in multiple races)

Aoharu/Rice Shower you can roll on but you might want to just save for Kitasan (will give 100 free rolls on top if you were planning on sparking her). Kitasan is running with Condor who is a really good power card if you dont have her and could possibly get her MLB'd if you're lucky.

Aoharu you can borrow who is scenario specific, kind of like Tazuna where an MLB one with a strong deck will get you far (for the next two[?] scenarios), Rice Shower just gives you Maestro and is comparable to creek but a power card. It depends on what you want, but not a bad time to roll.

Yeah, G1s are the best ways to get skill points that's not running a Tazuna SSR.

With training CM aces, you have to balance between training stats and G1s. If you are breeding parents, you want to tackle as many G1s as possible. But when training an ace you need to make sure your stats are good. It can be a tricky balance to get good stats and enough SP for the skills you need. If your energy is full on new years you can pick the bottom option for more SP. Some events for SSRs/ trainees can get you more SP that way too.

Cancer had a very bad proc window (the tiny stretch between after late race starts and before the straight begins in pic related), Leo seems much wider in comparison and it might be able to trigger more reliably since i think overtakes for lates start during late-race, not sure how usefull it would be on end closers
