once you develop some gamesense you can go to chesstempo
don't bother memorizing openings it's boring as shit and not even a good way to improve, just look up opening principles
anyway just try to have fun. chess is quite soothing for me so i'll play a game or two on lichess sometimes

chess.com is decent. It's paid shit for puzzles but you can play online for free. Lichess is decent too. Oh and try playing against Maia bot, it's the best imitation of another human.
