I honestly don't know if it's worth it when miiverse and the like no longer operates. That was most of the appeal for me over the switch so I feel like it'll just be an hd Wii but since I already have a Wii that's obviously a little redundant. I'm skipping this generation of consoles so I most play my switch 1 and ps3 and 4. I have a PC that can play modern titles though.

Their lowest is today IMHO. Wii u was flawed but the fact is flawed Reggie era is still better than Bowser. Devon might change it a little bit I'm not too optimistic.

I guess I meant more in terms of popularity and mass market success. Back then, I was the only person in my friend group with a Wii U, and only one other friend had a 3DS. The rest were ps4 or xbone. When switch 1 came along every single one of them got one
