You know what's crazy? In AoS the skaven aren't under your city, they're under your reality. You can hear them gnawing and chewing through the immaterium, you can tear out every floorboard, search behind every corner, attempt to fill out any holes. Nothing will stop them. And when they come, they spew out so fast that most of them die from being crushed by the rats behind them. And then as fast as they come they disappear back into the gnawhole, leaving behind what stragglers couldn't make it and piles of corpses, both man and beast.
