I immediately turned off crossplay in battlefield but I can't play with Xbox players? Literally every retard developer does this for no reason.

Um, it's too hard for Arrowhead to not use 140 GB if you're playing on an SSD to help HDD players. Why do you expect us to discern between PC and other consoles, bitch faggot gamer? Crossplay? (I have no problem with Helldiver 2's "solution" but I do have a problem with installing it on an SSD and having to deal with a giant install size, just like you have a problem with shitty "crossplay" implementation).

Sounds like laziness to me. Like how several modern games have a cursor to scroll through menus instead of allowing us to use a dpad. When people asked for crossplay years ago, it meant Playstation and Xbox.

Yeah, you're right. In my own experience of developing cross platform compatibility, it felt like shit having to account one thing for both platforms. But the difference is I wasn't being paid for it and I still did it. It's just the new culture around games and you as a consumer will unfortunately have to learn the hard way and never buy their shit until they learn what the fuck the problem is.

It's because certain games population were effectively DOA without crossplay with console. CoD used to be a major one. Majority of people used to play on console until they implemented crossplay. Sports games are the same way, it wasn't until this year that sports games actually get the "next gen" version of sports games...the 24, 23, 22 versions of sports games like Madden and NBA 2K were still the old PS4 8th gen version of the game, which is just crazy because most PCs can obviously handle next gen titles. Funnily enough though, sports games are the only games that support console only crossplay. NBA 2K, Madden, FIFA, NHL, Undisputed, etc are the only games I'm aware of that allow PS vs Xbox, but not PC.

TL,DR devs are just fucking retarded. I would prefer console only crossplay for competitive games and then total crossplay for everything else but again devs are shit brain retards, so go figure.
