I'm honestly not even sure how additional gamer pictures work.
Sometimes I have literally hundreds to choose from, sometimes only a couple. I know quite a few were tied to in game unlocks. I'm using happy Windia from Deathsmiles currently.
But even ones I know I've unlocked are gone. And there are all these sports players in there I don't know who they are or where they came from. And then like when I'm offline I actually have more pictures to choose from than when I'm online like figure that shit out...
Yeah the Xbox 360 store may be down but the console still connects and like 80% of the DLC that matters can still be purchased on Microsoft.com I'm still all about that life.

The actual gamerpics were stored in a temporary cache on your system that gets wiped on every boot, and the server they keep them on gets wiped from time to time.
Your ACTUAL gamerpic is a static image that periodically gets refreshed.
If you have a really tiny gamerpic it means your shit was wiped years ago and there's no repo to point it at to refresh.
