>One of the worst main characters in the series.
>Story is so unbelievably dull and boring outside of Basim and can be boiled down to either
-Visit an area, speak to one or two people, they tell you of their issue, you go kill some people, there's a big fight, someone dies or leaves acting like the hour you were together was enough to endear you to them, you talk about how Angleland will become better, and you leave.
-Visit an area, mean people are doing mean things, you talk to someone who tells you a couple people doing these things, surprise it's random Order of the Ancients fodder with only some development, you hunt down three of them to find the leader, kill the leader, then hallucinate Odin.
>Combat is braindead easy and only gets easier as you play even when starting on Draugr because the buffs you get to your character are astronomically broken let alone the weapons.
>If you don't play with Guaranteed Assassinations turned on you are heavily limited where you can even run around.
>Norway is a mostly empty map, Angleland is nothing to write home about but it's alright particularly when you reach Roman-inspired locations, the Isu maps are all boring and lame and boring, and outside of the DLC there's nothing much else that's interesting.
>Castle and fort designs are solid and are designed around encouraging stealth even if you can just run in and murder everyone because combat is so braindead.
>Wrath of the Druids is solid and grants you the best weapon in the entire game.
>Siege of Paris is structured like a mix of older AC games and these newer AC games and it's pretty fun, but 100%in it is a chore due to the reputation system requiring so much grinding.
>Dawn of Ragnarok is just more Isu fever dreaming with awful enemies, a boring map, a terrible story, and basically just makes you even more overpowered while simultaneously having the arena not balanced for the highest difficulty.
>River Raids are garbage grinds and I despise them.
