What is your favorite game of all time?
What is your least favorite game of all time?
What is some common ground these two games share with each other besides obvious shit like "they're video games"?

The least favorite game of the person reading this right now.

I only (dis)like them out of sheer unadulterated spite for the person reading this right now. Yes, you. Fuck you and everything you stand for.

Both games have meta commentary on how things should and shouldn't be ruled in the world.

Dark cloud 2 is a legitimate masterpeice of a game. A rare time they mash 40 systems together and they flow perfectly complementing eachother the more you progress. New Vegas was a huge disappointment for me. Fresh on release after years of playing 3 I legitimately fell asleep the first night playing it. The world and story felt so bland I tredged through the main questline down to New Vegas hoping I'd feel a spark from the previous game I loved but ultimately I was disappointed. I played 2 endings from a savepoint I had in NV but really it just felt like a shit game. I was 14-16 when the game came out so I'm willing to accept I maybe didn't understand it but also I would never bother giving it another chance.
