Labrynth kinda is i guess, if you enjoy relying on shitty floodgates or turn zero interactions that make your opponent feel miserable. The only ones that really not affected is Voiceless and a blind 2nd deck. Most decks aren't like them. Most decks are affected by Fuwalos. Just accept it. You're opponent will get a draw or two at worst which is still pretty good. At best, they force you to pass on almost nothing or they'll draw everything they need to out you and more.

Haven't played Traptrix in a long time, I heard Argostar are pretty bad, but I'd 100% recommend Labrynth. It's a very unique deck that doesn't "combo" per se, but you do need to think of your interactions beforehand. The best part is your combos last 10-20 seconds at worst so you have ample time to read what cards your opponent's playing and use your traps to stop them.
There are many variants:
1) Floodgate Lab -> Easiest to play but not fun in my opinion (plus you lose a lot of flexibility because the floodgates fuck with you too).
2) Furniture/Normal Lab -> It's incredibly fun and you got a shit ton of options for both traps and ED monsters. It's incredibly flexible because you can deck in whatever traps counter the current meta. This variant also allows you to play Turn 0 with Butler so it's got that too.
3) Math Lab -> Kinda complex at first but once you understand Simultaneous Equation Cannons it's a blast. Deck revolves around getting SEC on the field asap and using it to banish all the cards they control.

Lady's Dragonmaid turns Chamber, Parlor and Kitchen into one-card combos, she can summon a maid from deck when special summoned (not just fusion summoned) and an extra fusion summon during Standby which can turn into either Philia Regis or Light and Darkness Dragonlord since she's also a Lv8 LIGHT Dragon. Chamber's dragon form on the other hand can be discarded to summon a maid from GY or banishment and protects all your dragon fusions from destruction effects.

It will also synergize really well with Dracotail once it releases.

This game would be goated if someone made a patch to fix these issues. You depend so much on getting an specific combination of cards to destroy the opponents traps or trick them into attacking you to destroy their monsters that it's not even fun.
I loved the game as a kid because i was born in 97 and when i was a young kid Yu-Gi-Oh was popular as fuck, but i used GameShark to get Exodia and all the other cards. Turns out i think most of the OP cards are only possible to obtain via cheats.
It truly is one of the most unbalanced bullshit games ever made, the beginning is so fun and i still like it's simplicity, despite not 100% following the rules of the TCG.

Gem Knights, Orcust, pure Mitsurugi, are at the bottom of the best decks. Otherwise you can play pretty much anything that was meta in the last 1.5 years and do fine. Maliss is clearly the best deck, but isn't anywhere near as dominant as some of the top decks of the past.

I traded away my QCR Ash and Starlight Wanted Poster. At least with the QCR Ash I pulled, I got the value it was worth at the time. As for the Starlight Wanted Poster, I kinda got screwed in the ass. Originally I traded it for a Little Knight, but the guy didn't had it at the time but gave me some fancy branded sleeves and two monsters that were rare but nobody fucking cares about (can't remember the names. One was some ultimate rare Xyz monster and the other was I think was some Synchro monster or maybe another Xyz monster) as "insurance" if he can't get me that Little Knight by next week. Next week rolls around and this guy doesn't have the Little Knight, but tells me to keep the cards and sleeve and that he would help me get whatever card I needed in a future set. I didn't know what the fuck to do since the guy had a bit of a reputation and following and I was just some newfag scrub. He was a pretty friendly and helpful guy towards me when I first started out. I didn't want to be a bitch and cause drama so I kinda just left it be and ever since then, I always felt like he had this "don't talk to me" vibe which kinda sucks because he was a pretty cool dude and I think we share similar interests outside of yugioh. I ended up selling those cards to the store a year later for about $40-60 dollar.

Yeah, Tag Force has some of the more fair AI, though it does still cheat a bit, and I have definitely noticed it with my thousands of hours playing the original trilogy. For example, if you place a face down defense monster, the AI will NOT attack into it unless the attacking monster's ATK is no more than 1000 lower than the target's DEF. (900 ATK > 2000 DEF? Pass. 1100 ATK > 2000 DEF? Attack.)

Post the modern tournament Yugioh: FM is not a fun challenge.
Its a card check - one which demands a staggering amount of very painful grinding..
At that point in the game, enemies routinely pull 3000+ monsters out of their ass within the first few turns.

Right now super poly is extremely good but it depends on your deck. Personally I don’t like running super poly in decks that aren’t made to go second. It’s very redundant when going first and you’d often rather have more engine to power through the 50 handtraps everyone has now. I am adding Mitsurugi. Both Punk Jam Fever and Lizardose work stupid well with Mitsurugi cards, It's like a draw 3 before your normal summon. If you resolve Habakiri you end up with 2 level 8s and a level 4, you make Jam Fever draw 1, then link for lizardose, banish a reptile for another draw. So you thin your deck by 9 cards with a +2 before the normal summon with a Link 2 on the board, prayers in hand and 2 habakiri in hand.
If you had Super Poly you now have a lot of discard fodder but by this point it feels winmore.

Not really with the Vernusylph engine. It would be better to use Axon Kicker Oracle to banish Teleport Fusion to revive itself if outed.

If you draw GUB, NS > anima > GUB effect to summon from grave, you have a spellcaster + level 4 or lower earth on the field so you can make Nefariouser Archfiend and re-summon GUB, this is where I went into union carrier but you could go into serene sorc.

Actually I wasn't being totally honest. That board only ends like that if you manage to get Glow-Up Bulb into the GY (either hard draw it or use Vernusylph of the Awakening Forests to dump it) and you're able to go into Nefariouser (not that hard if you open Aussa or just swarm with enough earth monsters to make the Aussa link). Most of the time it's going to be that entire Madolche board + Possessed Partnership + Artemis just to have a different attribute to for Partnership to work or link off whatever Charmer remains in the field to get Partnership going.
Vernusylph of the Flourishing Hills + 4 random monsters is already full Madolche combo and Nefariouser combo. You just grab Unpossessed by you don't have a Charmer in hand or GY. Hell, Vernusylph of the Misting Seedlings + 1 random monster is already full Madolche combo minus Nefariouser unless you open with Aussa. If you open two different Vernusylph names + 3 random monster, you have more than full combo if uninterrupted. Even better if you hard open with Aussa, Madolches, or Glow-Up Bulb alongside your Vernusylphs. The deck's only weakness is not opening a Vernusylph, opening with 2 or more Spell/Traps, and getting hit with Droll or Maxx C and its two cousins (Fuwalos and Meowls).

Yes, but it's literally RNG whether you beat the final boss rush or not, there's 2 fuckers who can pull out a 4500 ATK monster on the first turn, even though the strongest monster you can legally acquire has 1000 less ATK. i like this game a lot but i do still consider it trash. imo, the game really is fun up until you go back to the past. you can get by with very minimal grinding and learning fusions before that. then you go back to egypt. only one fusion is worth doing(twinheaded) because the rest have been powercrept out. i think the game would have been just fine if there were more cards you could fuse into that were around the same attack level of twinheaded thunder dragon. but there aren't, it just stops with that one card. then it just becomes a grind to get a handful of select key cards to beat the rest of the game's enemies loaded out decks and rigged RNG.

It's gotten too easy, so I force myself to play with the restriction of having the suits sorted Spades, Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds.
Lots of times I "lose" because it's impossible to do it. (the game automatically places the cards)
