An absolutely abysmal time that'll leave you disillusioned at just how bad it was and with a sense of dull anger against the devs and publisher that you can't explain beyond the fact that it's basically a mockery of the game it shamelessly preys on through nostalgia bait but could never begin to live up to, and in turn a mockery of anyone who liked VTM: Bloodlines because nobody in the long, embarrassing struggle to squeeze out this fetid turd ever stopped to care what fans would like. It's an abortion made icky for wrong reasons, custody chief among them greed and spite.
Between VTMB and this game, the franchise took an extremely ugly, poisonous turn and became indoctrinated with US leftist ideology which is antithetical to fun, creativity and good narratives. And it is on this revolting, rotten basis that Paradox (an absolutely Satanic studio by every definition) told one studio to create a cash grab, which it failed to do, only to tell ANOTHER studio to try. The result is the most grotesque frankenstein monster of bad ideas, poor management, unrealistic expectations and failure imaginable. A narrative clusterfuck of terrible ideas executed obnoxiously simplistically by a gaggle of ideologically poisoned scum with neither the skill or talent to make something fun, so they had to settle for provocatively ugly and insulting to those unlucky or dumb enough to play it.
