I've just started playing and like it so far but the only thing I'm not super happy about is that the enemies get up after a while. Does that mean I have a short time frame where I have to quickly get whatever item to progress further or do they get up after a certain trigger like reading a note or something?

Call me petty but I initially avoided this game because I didnt like the gay ass stick legs of the player character even though I was paying attention to it for a bit on the basis of being a classic survival horror aficianado and really liking basically everything this game resembled even slightly

When I did finally play it it was a mixture of really good things (a lot of stuff on the audiovisual side and mechanics like the radio wavelength system) but I also had an annoying struggle with most of the actual gameplay and not in a good way, maybe starting on hard was a mistake but the ass-shit anal tiny retard inventory combined with some of the gayer enemy types like the shield enemies made me enjoy the game probably the least out of any classic survival horror game ive played to this date unless SH4 and RE zero count as classic survival horror games (zero probably more so in terms of design and I still havent finished it to this day)

I like the visuals
I dont like the gay ass story
I like the atmosphere
I dont like the gay ass enemies (except for the final boss which was probably some of the best stuff in the genre weirdly enough)

A massive mixed bag and just unironically way too tranny while huffing its own shit about being le hardestcorestestest survival horror evah with 6 inventory slots that you use to juggle the gay ass base mechanics of the game

It's just boring and nonsensical and it's obvious that it was only ever popular after being astroturfed by /u/ trannies, so obviously there was going to be pushback toward that.
Gameplay is pretty good, but the game design is retarded. The way the endings work is stupid, if you play the game with any amount of confidence (i.e. it isn't your first horror game) and liberally kill shit, you'll skip essentially half the story and go straight to one of the "truer" ends. Just really stupid to premise the emotional impact of your story on the idea that players are either going to play the game like a speedrunning tranny initially or someone on the verge of peeing their pants and neurotically conserving ammo like it's their first horror game.
