You can only increase ABI through digivolve/devolve and feeding them digi-food (I forgot which ones). Training decreases CAM depending on how long the training time is, you can increase it back by feeding them miracle meat.

On Hard the final boss only has about 6-7k ATK/INT stats, the rest are like 2.2k or so. Not counting HP/SP obviously. The Royal Knights are a little higher (I think), but not so much that you'd need to go much further than like 5-6k for attacking stats or need crazy defenses + HP at least. The game is balanced really well so that you'll just casually be around the approximate levels for everything with average gameplay (as in doing all the content as you go), but it also allows people to have fun with stat autism if they'd like too.

The foods for human spirits are only from convenience stores in the human world, I think pretty much everyone that played without a guide missed out on those. You have to wait until the game lets you go back there unfortunately.

The Immortal eggs are mainly from very late game side quests, you get the first one really early but the rest are from late game. If you get lucky with a surprise encounter, Digitamamon drops Immortal Egg when you kill it.

Some bosses like to spam physical AOE skills so you can put up a counter, watch the boss AOE 4 times and get countered 4 times.
