In Windows and Mac, you can set a preference for light or dark mode. Other apps and programs can hook into the setting and adjust their appearance and UI accordingly. Many flavours of Linux also have light and dark mode settings, but due to the nature of Linux desktop environments, the implementations can be a little obtuse compared to Windows and Mac. All Graf tried to do was implement support for a light/dark mode feature in GZDoom to work on Linux desktops. He asked ChatGPT for assistance and added the code it provided. He mistakenly pushed this change directly to the master git branch of the project, and it caused a compilation error. Then he quickly corrected the compilation error. That's basically it. His biggest crime was commiting and pushing some untested code to master instead of a separate feature branch. It's also worth noting that this didn't break anything, just caused an automatically triggered build to fail, and that's that. The trannies that infested the project were throwing a hissy fit about the push to master, which is sometimes shitty but it happens all the time in software development and smartly configured CI/CD pipelines will always protect against any compilation errors. They were also complaining that AI-generated code *might* not be compliant with the GPL license, but that's honestly not a real worry since Linux is open source anyway.
The trannies that contribute basically nothing to the project were just looking for the slightest reason to shit on Graf and hijack GZDoom's reputation with their own forks.

Do you have no concept of proprotion? GZDoom 4.14 runs at 50% the performance quality as fucking version 1.8! This is on E1M1, which is the benchmark for absurd performance on any Doom source port. Games and mods actually made to utilize the advanced features of these sourceports are going to run much closer to common framerates like 60-144. If A map would be running at 60 on 1.8, there's now good odds it'll eb running at fucking 30 on 4.14.
