I don't think I ever finished the hell difficulty because enemy immunity shit makes the game miserable. I want to play the game, not skip half of it.

I downloaded D2 again, thinking it would be super fun; it was not. D2 is a shit game desu. Not saying running through the campaign wouldn't be fun, it is, but thats the problem you have to run through the SAME campaign 3 different times just to play nightmare or hell, or whatever. What lazy difficulty design, and that's not the end. You have to continue running the same campaign over and over and over to reach level 99. The game sucks imo. It also forces me to play a woman character if I want to play Amazon or sorcerer? Lame, fuck that I'm not playing a weak woman. "Dude, but female butt!! What are you gay?" No, I'm not a sex maniac simp, who likes roleplaying as a woman. The fuck is wrong with you. I can't move with WASD, I have to click everywhere like it's fucking runescape. Diablo 2 was and is still trash.

It do be like that. Dual wield barb can be decent for it with a Lawbringer in another hand. Thankfully that rune word isn't too painful to farm for with a Lem being the highest rune. But I get it, doesn't feel good to feel forced into certain classes and builds to clear most areas without just running because a swathe of monsters are immune to your method of attacks.

I don't understand the complaints on immunities.
>barb gets zerk, which rapes everything whether you put in 1 or 20 points
>sin and necro get corpse explosion, which you're going to max out no matter what build because it's extremely strong dual-elemental supplementary damage, and even with one point you can handle immunes through careful positioning
>sorc can easily dual spec because blizzard, frozen orb and meteor are wildly overpowered even with only 20 points invested, getting teleport basically guarantees dual elemental on its own since you can fully control your merc's positioning and damage output
>druid is kind of fucked if you play one of the meme builds, but who cares, he's a joke character anyways, his only serious build, the windy druid, has no issues with immunes
>zon is dealing physical + elemental in most cases

And even if none of that works, as long as you aren't physical, you can toss on a merc with a stick and he'll rape anything that isn't physical immune.

Also, the two most popular modded versions of the game (PoD and D2R) understand how stupid the current inventory is and did a great job of fixing it. I have no idea what you get out of defending developer oversight, but it definitely isn't an improved version of the base game.

My point is stated above. You don't need most of the shit you find outside of memeing. Make a note that you found it. You held it. In your hands. Your inventory was graced by it. And move on. You don't need a full roster of mules to hold onto items you will NEVER use or trade. This is a YOU problem, not a 'game mechanic and developer oversight' problem.
