Is Black Souls worth buying on steam?
I've never played it, but from the comments I see that they heavily censored this game and basically cut out every dark/mature aspect the game was popular for

There's an off-site patch which restores everything. The main differences between the Steam and the original pirated version are:
>different font
>the art in the Steam+patch version is uncensored
>a few small grammar errors fixed
>a few instances of lolcalisation removed

No rpg is worth playing

It's an alright 7/10 game by itself carried by the story and characters, the main reason to really play it is to learn about the lore for Black Souls II and to finally support the creator as a dirty gaijin.
If you're unsure just pirate it and buy it later if you like.

Steam version is literally unplayable (as in, you can't progress past prologue) without a patch. Buy if you want to support author and piss of slavemastercard.

Patch it.

>7/10
I'd give it a 5/10, compared to RHW's 3/10 and BS2's 8/10. The story that matters really just amounts to what you see in the last hour or two along with a sequel hook for BS2, and while the endings are decent they don't do enough to carry the rest of the game.

Will he fall for the bait of buying it?
