Should game developer just openly lash out at their fans or just literally anyone online in general at the smallest perceived slights to just try and seem "based" or something along those lines?
It doesn't really seem like a valid choice to me to be quite honesty. You have more to lose if you say anything than you have if you just kept your mouth shut and only ever use social media to post updates on your work and releases then just go dark the rest of the time so that no one gets to know what you're up to or what your personal takes or life even is like.
