will powers' trial is much better. no annoying cross-examining the kid segment. it's all done outside the court. phoenix is less retarded and doesn't show dee vasquez the evidence. the trial is over by day 2 in the game, so they decided to do the same. oldbag was made less annoying. they also shed light on the dl-9 case and grossberg actually apologizes to maya. phoenix acts less retarded and doesn't dangle incriminating evidence in front of von karma like candy
morgan's plot makes more sense (blackmails the girl into doing it). the case is still retarded because the key to the room should have been disposed of and the fact that the conviction relies on the witness doing a gesture from the wrong side... for an incident that happened years ago
the circus case is improved. it sucks that the fuckers completely buried max and trillo's feud over regina, but it was necessary given the plot changes.
also they completely shoved andrews' codependency issues under the rug and changed celeste inpax from her tutor to her sister. no references to andrews's suicide attempts and edgeworth telling her that he didn't give a shit either.
