There's nothing that really points to this, is there? Junko seems real enough. After all, Hinako's hangups with pregnancy stem from seeing Junko go through it. It's explicitly mentioned that se hated seeing looking older and more fatigued from post delivery. Then she has that heart-to-heart with her in the true ending where Junko is assuring her that she doesn't regret her decision and that the arranged marriage made things a lot easier.

The only way I can see this tying to Junko not being real is if there's another meta layer at play. With White Bird Hinako representing teen Hinako, Black Bird Hinako representing mid 20's Hinako, and Junko representing...30's Hinako? But then there are discrepancies in Junko's life compared to Hinako's, such as the manner the wedding arrangement was set up with. Though one question I have is what happened to the money they got from selling Junko off - but I assumed that it was just an average family and the dowery was probably just a normal amount for them to get by but not get out of debt.

People fucking sperg out when I say the game is good. I don't even think it's better than 1-3 but I'd say the story is pretty interesting.
Combat is simplistic and enemies don't really become a problem even in harder difficulties once you have a specific build and know how which weapons are strong and which charms are good.

The only real problem I have with the game is that in multiple playthoughs things only really change at the end. NG+ has some pretty subtle changes in cutscenes and new rooms and environments can be entered but its still too samey for the majority of a new playthrough.

The new notes and documents collected in new game I actually enjoyed reading a whole lot but it is a BIG ask for a lot of people to playthrough the game multiple times just for those new notes and revelations.

The game isn't bad, I like it quite a bit. It's a pretty neat entry for SH but the repetitive NG+ design while interesting needed a lot more retooling to keep things more new and engaging for several multiple playthoughs. Just some subtle and minor changes for cutscenes ,new notes, and a small quests aren't enough.

The game is alright I guess. Definitely overpriced. Don't give money to Konami
