yeah I agree, her route features the best character of the entire Fate series, Jamal. It's truly a shame that our hero only appears in this route, I guess TM understood that Jamal is a bastion of hope and justice true to his ideals that shouldn't be exploited for money, if it wasn't for him, Shirou would never become a better man.

She did, but she had the worst role in her own route. She got shafted by Illya's merged route. She's a much better character in HA.

In theory, I adore a final route that reaches back into the urban horror of Nasu's previous works. I admit it's been years since I read Fate, but to my recollection Heaven's Feel just doesn't work. It doesn't help that Sakura is about as interesting as a wet napkin. Hisui was a much better stab at the whole 100% broken girl character. Considering that I'm not nearly as into the whole bishoujo action tone of S/N as Tsukihime's lite horror, I had a reasonably fun time with the first 2 routes. Hollow Ataraxia was super comfy too. Saber best heroine, deep cut favorite is that grey haired girl with the glasses.

HF should be the best route by all means, but Sakura is too empty of a character to make it work to its full potential. I know that's the point of her story, but it doesn't work. She comes across as a living plot device who's only desire other than going ballistic is being Shirou's housewife. She's a victim with no personality and no goals beyond keeping our HERO OF JUSTICE at home with her.

Also, the point about Shinji raping her was overkill, unnecessary, and retroactively ruins UBW's otherwise perfect ending
