I think that was what ruined The Last of Us for me:

I think I took the phrase "The Citizen Kane of videogames" personally and when it turned out to be just another action adventure with wallhacks I kept being annoyed with the little things.

Fallout 4 has it pretty bad where the main problem of the Commonwealth, as the story would have you believe, is the mysterious Institute and their synths, but if walk around the game world for even like 5 minutes you'll find like 10 different dungeons filled with raiders, super mutants, or 'Gunner' mercenaries who attack on sight.

It doesn't make any sense that anyone, short of maybe Diamond City, would care about the hypothetical prospect of people being replaced by bots when you can't walk one damn block in Boston without having to fight hundreds of hostiles.

In Tomb Raider 6, Lara:
