Pirate a program such as DaVinci Resolve or VEGAS (https://files.catbox.moe/ypn1lk.zip). You can even use Windows Movie Maker if you want. Drop in the singer's track. (I also recommend dropping in the isolated vocals on a separate track to make timing lyrics easier if you want.) Then just add visuals! You can add gameplay footage to the beat; you can copy the existing music video and just add jokes over it; you can do a slideshow of memes; you can do glorified lyric videos; you can incorporate MMD, Blender, and other external programs; you can do anything you want. It's not hard to start downloading footage and dropping it in. You don't need to have musical or artistic skills. You don't need to be able to draw.

Start with a shorter song. There are plenty of 30-60 second songs without video! You can even do DLC.

Right now the data from the additional strawpoll directly correlates to this. It does seem like the original rigging was contained to TDM and Flop, as me (and plenty of other anons as you can see in the dead thread) watched it happen live when they alone shot up roughly 30 to 40 votes in the time the rest moved only 3 or 4 votes. The additional poll includes a huge amount of data, but is much less reliable when looking at the voter-side results because the rigger sprinkled in random votes across all options. You can see that where the voter count is severely higher. I can manually filter these and have given the data a look over (very few people have voted in the last few hours and I've accounted for them), and I can say pretty confidently that the same 7 won both polls when rigging is invalidated, which is only logical. I can get into some really autistic data if people want, but realistically I think doing so only benefits future riggers that know what to avoid. If there are any issues with this conclusion let me know, I sincerely hope people are happy with this way of handling it.

If you want to know how many true votes you got, it's roughly 20 by the numbers I was seeing. Be proud of it, that's very respectable considering you could have potentially been mid to high 20s if not for the rigger making a few people not vote for yours. Just a strong competition this year especially for that slot.

It's also unfortunate that an album which will draw shitposters if it's ever used accidentally and which is arguably not really vidya (ENA) won over a great well-drawn platforms piece which is also timely (PS5 destroying Xbox, given that Xbox died this year). Yeah, since the header also mentions 2 BC and 1 Industry I could see why it'd be a tough run for Consolewar. IBTO had weeks(?) of progress in the thread so it'll naturally get a bump in voting, and the other two BC albums were suggestions from the thread that got turned into art.

I'll Break the Oath would have been a good vidya album cover since it has many references to the vidya on the cover. Console war would've been a great sendoff since the Xbox will be dead this time next year.

Now that the deadline is past on the Strawpoll as well, here's a glimpse of some of the results. It's not 100% free of rigging (the US side had a little for sure) but it does give you a decent idea of how the votes went with most of the rigging tuned out, though it's not accurate at all for the total counts because we do have a lot of non-americans (just not double digits of them from Norway kek).

they stopped voting on the 1st poll basically instantly when I called them out, you can see they stopped at the 40 they reached even when others climbed up to 60.

they essentially stopped on the 2nd poll after I posted a screenshot of the data spreadsheet.

I can literally see the point they gave up. When they're rigging, we get 3 votes a minute from a certain list of countries, many just being Flop or Flop + a few random ones spread across all of them. For example in pic rel they were spamming doomed and imageboard but they spammed pretty much every single option alongside flop at some point (probably so flop ended up in the top without any others truly getting a boost, it's like +20 to everything roughly with doomed, introduction to consolewar, and no games getting a little more than average).

when they're not rigging the votes are more spread out and actually include the logical ones you'd expect, I censored the data other than time and vote in pic rel but it shows some.

Options:

For this particular site, you paste the lyrics into the text area then click 'Synchronize to music'.

You will be taken to a new page, in here you can load your audio track using the Audio button, and start the playback with the START button.

In order to mark which line is being sang, you need to click on the 'Next Line' button (or spacebar) as the line starts being sung (click upon hearing something, not in anticipation for consistency with others). The lyric in the text area will be highlighted white letting you know the line was tagged.

When you reach the end of the lyrics you posted, the 'Next Line' button should now be replaced with a 'Get File' button which will download the .lrc file to your PC.

Now, I just extract the content by opening the .lrc file with a text editor (even plain Notepad works) and take only the timed lyric lines alongside timestamps and paste them into a new .txt or directly into the Rentry. Some tips if you want to pretty it up:

1. Add an extra [00:00.00] timing to the start of the text, it makes the start of the song clean. See any on the sheet for an example.
2. Delete the website's advertising bit at the end, it breaks nothing to do so.
3. Listen as you time and if the singfag changed lyrics, fix it to what they sang in the text afterwards if you can. Wrong lyrics defeat the point after all.

Thanks! If you do end up doing more, it makes it lower stress to know you don't need to be perfect at all, just clicking when you hear the line start being sung is perfect . I've never heard most of the songs I do, the protip is that if you mess up you can just click the play button to pause it, and click the orb for the line you messed up to rewind to that point and try to get a better timing. You can even edit the text in the pause screen if you notice a singer changed the words.

Well, when I helped anon mix his version of Kane-ilingus, he pointed out that my exports are too quiet. I use Ardour, it basically hijacks your audio devices (when it's running you can't use those same audio devices for anything else, they're given exclusive access to the program, and thus far I haven't figured out why that is the case or how to change it), so when you're using it you get the full breadth of sound in the application, and your recordings sound as loud as it should be, but when you export tracks it uses some kind of loudness equalization and I didn't know that. Basically, I fixed it, and these tracks are louder/fuller sounding.

Made an alternate mix for 80 Bucks Give No Fucks and gave it less reverb. Also added the solo by using the original song, the coughing fit drowned out the laughter in the original song as well.

It was referring to how the normal results for death battles (which also require listening to songs) suddenly had an influx of the same votes later (aka rigging). Unlike death battles, openers don't really have a compromise where you duet them.
